At the Robotics Center at Sportklinik Hellersen, we rely on state-of-the-art robotic systems which, together with the expertise of our highly specialized doctors, set new standards in knee joint surgery. Our experienced surgeons combine their expertise in endoprosthetics with innovative robotic technology to enable even more precise, safer and gentler implantation of knee joints.
The robotic system "VELYS™ Robotic Assisted Solution" uses digital analysis and real-time data processing to ensure the best possible planning and positioning of the implants. Preoperative imaging such as CT or MRI is not required. Instead, the patient's anatomy is recorded during the operation and the implant is optimally adjusted in real time, taking into account the individual tension conditions in the knee joint. The surgeon retains full control at all times, while the system continuously supplies data to enable precise positioning of the implant and exact incision guidance. This combination of state-of-the-art technology and the medical expertise of our surgeons guarantees maximum precision.
Optimized implant alignment:
The technology supports the surgeon in the exact placement of the implant, resulting in an optimal fit and stability. No CT or MRI scans required prior to surgery:
Radiation-free planning enables gentle and precise preparation of the procedure.Optimized joint loading:
Precise positioning of the implant ensures even loading of the joint, which promotes the stability and mobility of the artificial joint.High precision:
The continuous adjustment of the saw guide ensures precise cutting.
